Guess what came in the mail a week ago??

ahhhhhhhhh!!! My very first Jewelmint order!

I'm extremely happy with my purchases~ My package arrived within a reasonable time frame and all of the pieces I chose are well made. Honestly, I don't think that some of the pieces in the showroom are worth half the price that they charge (usually, there's a decent dupe for costume jewelry elsewhere, Forever21 for example) BUT Jewelmint does have decent sales every so often and that's the only reason I placed an order this time (they were having a 3 for $29.99 offer on certain pieces). Just my opinion though... the jewelry pieces are lovely but I don't exactly have $30 to spend on jewelry that I don't wear often every month. =)

December Rings

This past December I went through one of my fashion phases... this time, I was completely obessessed with buying and wearing rings on a daily basis. (I'm currently going through a phase with stud earrings... but it's kind of boring to post that~ lol)

The (super long overdue) Birthday Haul

Since my birthday is right around Christmas time, I tend to get an overload of gifts during the winter months... Now that I think about it, this is probably the reason why I have so many winter clothes and very few summery things. Plus, winter's my favorite season (even though technically the weather in Louisiana is extremely bipolar.. I promise you that I was wearing shorts on Christmas day last year).

Not that any of you guys care aboit NOLA weather... Let's get back on track!!

As you can probably tell from the photo below, I got a mixture of button down shirts and dresses from my little sister. She also gifted me a mint blazer/coverup that I have yet to wear but will soon once I find the right outfit to pair it with. Everything's from a mixture of brands but I love all of them. The two of us have a little tradition of me opening my birthday gifts right after the clock strikes midnight~~

Say hello to the lovely new additions to my candle shelf~! I purchased these 4 candles using the $10 coupon from my 2012 Beauty Vlogger VoxBox which is actually half off the regular price!

I'll be honest, I spent a good hour at Bath & Body Works going through every single candle scent I could find.. until I settled on these four. LOL~ Lucky for me, my local store had also put out the Winter scents the very same day I went!
