Sister Lunch (and Introductions!)

Last Thursday was my day off from work before a small holiday for Easter. Since it was also spring break for two of my sisters, Kathleen and Katie, we decided to go out for lunch and do some thrift store shopping together. The original plan was to have lunch at Juan's Flying Burrito in Mid-city since Kathleen had never been there before. Juan's ended up being too crowded and had no parking when we arrived so we drove over to Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro in Uptown for lunch. Neither of my sisters had eaten at any of the Cheesecake Bistro locations before so this was a treat for both of them!
From top L to R: Kathleen's Chicken Alfredo and half brownie; Katie's Shrimp and Chicken Pasta (she also had a half brownie); and my Jambalaya Pasta (with cheesecake in the bg)
Dessert is definitely the best part of any meal!

Since I know everyone will be curious, I'll introduce my two sisters now. They'll be showing up a lot as I blog anyways. Maybe I'll even try to get one of them to write guest blog posts every now and then!

playing with camera options~
she looks tanner in the photo than in real life!
To the left is Kathleen. She just turned 19 this past March which makes her 4 years younger than me. She's finishing up for first year in University and hopes to be a dentist one day.

Kathleen's also the crafty one out of us three. She's always in the middle of a project (or two!) that showcases her creativity and talents. Lately, she's been bogged down with school work but she'll have time for plenty of DIY projects once summer vacation gets here!

She definitely has her own sense of style and is never afraid of pushing the limits of fashion!

her eyes always become crescent moons when
she smiles really big~ like this ^_^
And finally, this is Katie. She wouldn't pose properly for a photo during our lunch outing so this photo will have to suffice for now. LOL

Katie's turning 21 in August and working hard to become the first doctor in my family! [Well, I have a few cousins working towards that goal too but they're not in my direct family line.] I believe she wants to specialize in Dermatology after she gets accepted into med school.

Anyways, Katie's the ambitious and driven sister. She's also the only one out of us three who can actually play an instrument! Kathleen and I have dabbled in piano (keyboard to be more precise) and can both read music but Katie is still in the process of learning the guitar.

Besides the Katie and Kathleen, I have four other siblings all of whom are younger than Kathleen. There's a pretty significant age gap between Kathleen and the oldest of the other four. I guess you can say that we're the older kids and they're the younger kids. I'll save their introductions for later... Until next time, happy eating!!
