May Little Black Bag Haul!

It's that time of month again! Time for a Little Black Bag haul!

When I first decided to buy a May Little Black Bag, I thought I was going to have a hard time choosing my first item. I ended up picking the Nila Anthony Belted Structure Bag... that I eventually traded to receive the teal Nila Anthony Doctor Bag! I held onto the belted structure bag for days before finally letting it go for a BCBGeneration Two Tone Clutch and then the Doctor Bag.

Part of me wants to purchase a Little Black Bag next month just so I can get the BCBG clutch but we shall have to wait and see. $50 a month ($55 if you include shipping) is quite expensive for a monthly subscription service. Granted, the products offered are amazing but I don't really need a different handbag every month do I? My mom is definitely shaking her head at my spending habits at the moments since I'm saving up to move into my own apartment.

Anyway I love this bag and it's quite spacious which makes it a perfect carryall (for now). From the photo on the website, I assumed that the bag would've been a teal/turquiose color. In person, the bag is more of a dark seafoam green. I still love the bag but its definitely more green than blue.

The second item I received this month is a R&Em Love Peace Tote. R&Em is a new brand to me; this is the first piece that I have from this brand. I recently found out that R&Em is a brand extension of Rebecca Minkoff LLC featuring non-leather goods. The website says R&Em is sold exclusively at macy's and macys.com. I'm not sure how much involvement Rebecca Minkoff has in the design process of the R&Em bags but they're all fun and most importantly much more affordable than her main line.

The tote itself is very spacious and has a striped interior. There's actually three straps on the bag: the two usual ones you'd expect on a tote bag and a single longer strap.

My last item in this haul is a Robert Rose Long Tassel Necklace. Honestly, I was desperately trying to trade this necklace for a few pairs of Betsey Johnson stud earrings for most of the second half of the week. Obviously, other people on the site wanted them just as badly as I did!

Most likely, this will be the last Little Black Bag I purchase for a while. It really fun while it lasted but unfortunately my budget doesn't match my wants at the moment. Isn't that always the case? haha~ Join in on the fun and purchase your very own Little Black Bag here! I'd love to see what you got in yours!

Disclaimer: I purchased this with my own money and was not compensated in any way for this review. I only wish that was the case. LOL~ This bag is definitely going to be my bright pop of color at work. =) None of the links above are affiliate links.
